“Okayama”, was launched by Miyashita Sake Brewery in 2011, is a modern whiskey brand represented by the first bottling “Okayama Single Malt” and “Okayama Triple Cask”.
As the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of Miyashita Sake Brewery, the whiskey brand named Okayama was launched.
Barley from Germany and UK as its ingredients, same steel stills for the distillation of Shochu, Single Malt was bottled and released in 2015 as the first Okayama brand.
The knowledge that was built over years and decades, the second bottled whiskey received awards at the International Whisky Awards 2019 and World Whiskey Awards 2020.
“Okayama Triple Cask” is a blend of single malts distilled in a brand new German still ordered in 2015 and aged for three years in brandy, sherry and water oak casks.
