Kyoto Miyako Distillery – Kyoto Shuzo

Kyoto Miyako Distillery is the first whiskey distillery in Kyoto Prefecture that is operated by Kyoto Shuzo. Kyotanba-cho, where the distillery is located, is surrounded by mountains including Chorogadake and is full of nature with the Yura River flowing through it. In March 2021, the distillery launched three products, including the blended whiskey “Kyoto Whiskey Nishijin-ori AKA-OBI”. When it comes to sales in store, it seems to be only available inside of Kyoto (The online store is available for customers outside of the prefecture.)
