Kurayoshi Distillery – Matsui Sake Brewery

Matsui Sake Brewery was founded in 1910. Located in Tottori, northwest of Kyoto, northeast of Hiroshima, and facing the Sea of ​​Japan. More than 14% of the prefectural land is a natural park. There are lush greenery, steep coastlines, rivers and lakes, and Mt. Daisen which is a precious underground water source indispensable for Matsui’s sake brewing. Matsui Sake Brewery is known in Japan as a brewery and shochu manufacturer from long time ago. Today, Kurayoshi Distillery is known to the world as a whiskey manufacturing industry. Kurayoshi Distillery has helped the distillery grow by mastering the skills of blending and maturing spirits like whiskey makers around the world. Matsui Sake Brewery currently maneges the production of numerous whiskeys such as a in-house single malt whiskey, blended whiskey sourced from domestic and international private distilleries.
