Kaikyo Distillery – Akashi Sake Brewery

Kaikyo Distillery is named so that it is located in the Akashi Strait. This Distillery is surrounded by beautiful mountains, the sea and rich in nature, and has appropriated an producing Whisky environment to well-balance temperature and humidity. Akashi Sake Brewery, has produced Shochu and Mirin in Akashi since old times, expanded overseas in recent years and is well-known as a popularer brewer in the UK. They have been started producing whiskey since 2017 with the slogan “combine to the sense and belief of Japanese sake brewing with authentic traditions.” Until the maturation of the whiskey is completed, we sell whiskey “Hatozaki” for overseas export.
