BAR FIVE Arrows, which we will introduce today, is located within just a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station West Exit, which serves authentic food and cocktails until late at night.
The restaurant’s name, FIVE Arrows, was taken after the family emblem of the Rothschild family, a private bank in Switzerland. The restaurant offers rare five major whiskeys, original whiskey bottles which were purchased in a cask, and the Rothschild family’s champagne and wine (Rothschild).
The bar is located in a relaxed atmosphere that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, and the modern art exhibits and the stylish counter decorated with greenery is not only used as a bar dining room, but it is also available for media use, such as photo shoots and interviews.
In his childhood, he became interested in cocktails because of his grandmother, who was a bar hopper and aimed to become a bartender. He experienced working at authentic bars and pubs in his hometown of Gunma prefecture to search for the type and range of bartenders that fit. After moving to Tokyo, he worked in lounge and restaurant bars in Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Sangenjaya, and Ebisu. After that, he joined BAR FIVE Arrows. He has been creating seasonal fruit cocktails and creative cocktails with a focus on the scent. His talent is making cocktails that treat water with care and focus on the “softness” in cocktails.
The bar is a sophisticated space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku Station’s West Exit.
The bar offers a variety of seasonal and creative cocktails, but it is not only about the drinks, as it also offers a wide variety of French-based, New American Cuisine dishes!

I recommend the “Draniki With Root Celery And Smoked Trout“. The fluffy dough made with potatoes and trout is a perfect match! It is an acquired taste that makes me want to savor each bite with care.
Also, the “Drinking Perfume” was very glamorous. ….! As the name suggests, it looks just like a beautiful perfume, and I knew I had to try it when I visited BAR FIVE Arrows! The taste is sweet, yet the complex flavor came through as it combines the good scents of violets, roses, rosemary, and lavender with the peculiar scent of rosemary. It’s also slightly carbonated, so it is refreshing and easy to drink!
Everything about the restaurant, the drinks and the food was sophisticated, but the greenery makes it a relaxing place.
The modern art and greenery fuse together at BAR FIVE Arrows, and I highly recommend it for everyone to visit!
