West Highland Distillery had as less as 30 years of history; its whisky brand or how it ran is unknown.
Andrew Montogomery and Archibald Andrew, the bank man, established the distillery in 1830. It is said that it ran until 1852 and completely closed in 1860.
Houses stand on the site today.
