Benizakura Distillery – Hokkaido Jiyu Whisky

It is known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms in Golden Week season (Which is consective holiday from end of April to begining of May) and for autumn leaves in October in Benizakura Park in Minami Ward, Sapporo City. The Benizakura Distillery was established in 2018 at the park, and mainly produces the “9148 Series” of Craft gin that pays homage “1984” made by George Orwell. It is operated by Hokkaido Jiyu Whiskey Co., Ltd. which was established in the same year, but it is not avairable to get about whiskey information yet. The company is recruiting members for the VIP member club “Benizakura Distillery Club” and imploment crowdfunding to establish of the Maoi Distillery which manufactures brandy as a group company.
